VISSTUN INTRODUCES TWO NEW SIZES, INCREASES PRODUCTION CAPACITY, AND REDUCES PRICING
With the installation of a seventh cup forming machine, the company has added two new sizes to its product line, boosted production to more than 200 million cups per year, while passing cost savings onto customers.
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (June 18, 2014) – Visstun has expanded its reusable plastic and disposable paper cup offerings, and increased its production capacity, with the addition of a seventh Paper Machinery Corp. (PMC) cup forming machine. Two new sizes have been added, including tall 12 and 21 ounce cups, increasing the collection to 16 sizes.
With the improved technology of this machine, Visstun increased production efficiencies, capacity, and buying power; decreasing costs for customers. The price reductions will save customers up to 31% on paper and plastic cups, and will be implemented over the next few months.
“It’s a great achievement to be able to reduce costs, while increasing production, and options for our customers.” said Paula Piano, Director of Sales.
About Visstun:
Founded in 2007, Visstun launched the world’s first high-definition convolute cups. This unique, state-of-the-art technology eclipses traditional cup imprinting methods by first printing high-quality corporate images on flat polypropylene sheets and then forming them into cups on custom engineered machinery. The result is a line of visually stunning plastic and paper cups that has been honored numerous times, including five PPAI Supplier Achievement Awards in 2014.
Visstun, along with its sister companies DIGISPEC and CounterPoint are part of the family of companies founded by Ed Hamilton. While each division operates independently, all three are headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.
